来自实验游戏媒体“落日间”的叶梓涛和谢海鑫,以电子游戏的方式让参展诗人刘晓义的“理科诗”被“玩(play)”起来。在科技爆发的时代,符号学景观变得更加复杂,媒介也时刻在被科技影响。电子游戏是不可忽视的当下媒介。落日间对晓义作品的阅读,已然是数字时代的新翻译。Coming from the experimental gaming media Sunset-Sway, Ye Zitao and Xie Haixin enable the “playing” of a series of “scientific poetry” of the poet, Liu Xiaoyi, in the form of electronic games. In the era of technological explosion, semiotic landscapes become more complex, media are constantly influenced by technology. Computer and mobile games are an undeniable contemporary medium. Sunset-Sway’s reading of Xiaoyi’s work is already a new translation of the digital age.

诗或许是最精巧的美学机器。
一个人读起一首诗,就开始了一场游戏。眼神作为手在触 摸,呼吸通过声带,朗读作为演奏,与空间中的其他声音共 振形成听觉的反馈,阅读的机制,文字的视觉排版(印刷、 图形诗),字形字体引导着玩家的步伐,也塑造着每刻的视 觉反馈和焦点;而所指便是符号与象征,与意义概念碰撞形 成联想和欲望——随着阅读游走,意象汇聚,声音与图像交 织成丰富的影像。
那么一首电子-诗歌的游戏又是怎样的呢?我们从晓义的诗 歌中寻找激发的感受,并试图在电子世界中践行其创作方 法——说文解字,解构重组,以剧场式的方式拓展诗歌-游戏 可能的语汇,从不同的维度扩展和应和原作的声音、节奏、 意象、和动作。
Poetry may be the most intricate aesthetic machine.
When one reads a poem, a game begins. The gaze acts as hands touching, breath flows through vocal cords, recitation becomes performance, resonating with other sounds in space to form auditory feedback, the mechanism of reading, the visual layout of words (printing, graphic poetry), the shape and font of the characters guiding the player’s steps, shaping every moment’s visual feedback and focus; and what is referred to are signs and symbols, colliding with concepts to form associations and desires—as one wanders through reading, imagery gathers, sound and images interweave into rich visuals.
So what about the game of electronic poetry? We seek inspiration from Xiaoyi’s poetry and attempt to practice its creative methods in the electronic world—parsing characters, deconstructing and recombining, expanding the vocabulary of poetry-games in a theatrical manner, expanding and echoing the original work’s voice, rhythm, imagery, and actions from different dimensions.
